The Academy Award-winning writer behind “American Beauty” is looking to unload his over 10-acre Hollywood compound for $21 million, The Real Deal has learned. Alan Ball, who was also behind HBO’s “Six Feet Under” and “True Blood,” is set to place his property sitting at the bottom of Runyon Canyon on the Multiple Listing Service this week.
