Shopoff Realty Investments cleared a key hurdle in breaking ground on another residential development in Orange County. The Irvine-based firm has received approval from the Buena Park City Council to build 231 townhome and duplex units, along with 50 units of senior affordable housing, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The development would clear the 370,000 square feet of existing industrial space at 5600 Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, currently occupied by Amway, and build housing on the 14-acre site in its place.
