Hollywood’s soundstage retreat created an opening for a smaller player to swoop in recently.  Film and TV producer Manny Halley leased the 125,000-square-foot former Quixote North Valley complex in Pacoima, the Los Angeles Times reported.  Halley, through his Imani Media Group, leased the four-stage former facility at 12137 Montague Street from Rexford Industrial Realty under a 25-year agreement with an option to buy.  Halley is betting the move can help independent producers keep costs down while bringing more work back to Los Angeles, the outlet said.
