A Bakersfield fuel executive and his wife are hoping to score nearly $26 million on their waterfront Newport Beach home when it hits the market next week.  The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home at 1114 East Balboa Boulevard is priced at $6,791 per square foot and is expected to become available Sept. 10, according to listing sites. That’s much higher than the typical price per square foot in Newport’s Balboa Peninsula Point neighborhood, which is $2,150, according to Redfin.
