The head of Douglas Elliman’s Western region is out, The Real Deal has learned. Elliman parted ways with Hernandez on Tuesday, according to sources familiar with the situation. Hernandez had been a senior executive at Elliman since 2017, when Elliman acquired Teles Properties in 2017 as part of a major push in its westward expansion. Hernandez, who co-founded Teles in 2007, took over as president of Elliman’s California brokerage at the time of the merger.
