Beverly Hills chateau owned by Casey Kasem’s widow in contract with $16M ask

The French Normandy-inspired residence owned by actress Jean Kasem, widow of the late radio legend Casey Kasem, has found a buyer. The home, known as Chateau Jean des Lavandes at 1027 Ridgedale Drive in Beverly Hills, is listed for just under $16 million, or $3,642 per square foot.  It marked last week’s priciest home to go into contract, based on asking price, according to the Eklund Weekly Luxury Report Los Angeles.
