Brandywine Homes has gotten the go-ahead from the City of Norwalk to redevelop a hotel site next to the I-5 freeway.  City officials approved a proposal from Brandywine to demolish Hotel Saddleback at 12500 Firestone Boulevard and bring a new hotel and a mix of single-family homes and townhomes to the site, Urbanize Los Angeles reported.  The hotel currently at the 7.7-acre site has 230 rooms, along with restaurant space and a banquet hall.
