An aerospace startup co-founded and led by former Disney Channel star Bridgit Mendler is quintupling its headquarters and manufacturing footprint in Torrance as it prepares to scale production of satellite ground-network equipment. Northwood Space has opened a 185,000-square-foot facility at 18500 Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance, expanding its manufacturing space from 25,000 square feet to 135,000 square feet, L.A.
