An entity of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association — which has opposed the Measure ULA real estate transfer tax since day one — donated $10,000 to Steve Hilton, the Republican candidate for California governor.  The donation was made late August, per filings from the California Secretary of State, but the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association had previously endorsed the ex-Fox News host ahead of the June primary.
