The location of a closed restaurant on Los Angeles’ Westside has been floated for redevelopment into housing and retail.  RBM of California filed an application with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to demolish the existing building at 10990 West Pico Boulevard in Rancho Park and construct a seven-story residential building in its place, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The one-story building was previously home to vegan eatery Zen Bakery.  RBM’s plans call for 85 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments above 3,268 square feet of ground-floor retail space as well as a rooftop amenity deck and parking for 72 vehicles.
